Painted
The versatility and sophistication of a hand painted kitchen is
limited only by the imagination; but often a simple theme works
just as well: here a subtle off white with natural wood worktops
and flooring provide a delightful effect.
The Cottage (cot) and Chart (cha) pattern doors are both traditional
styles for painted furniture and produce a distinctive period
feel of a typical Victorian cottage or terraced house, or
perhaps a grander Victorian or earlier Georgian house with the
Chart pattern. The square framed doors (sqw, sqn) are a classic
shape for painting, where the distinct shadow line of the square
frame produces an intriguing effect, particularly with pale colours.
The bevel frame doors (bew, ben) with a less pronounced shadow,
perhaps in a stronger colour, give a contemporary feel to painted
furniture.
A hand painted kitchen provides unlimited scope for colour and
decorative effects both traditional and contemporary.
The Wooden Kitchen for hand painting can be supplied ‘in
the white’ (sanded bare wood), or white primed ready for
decorative hand painting on site.
